While it's easily read as a stand-alone, In Hell's Embrace is a sequel to Ravished by the Demon, in which Holly manipulated her way into the magical Farrow family, and then summoned demons in order to borrow power from them.  When her sister-in-law Meg discovered her duplicity, Holly locked her in a magic circle with an angry demon in hopes he would kill Meg.  Unfortunately for Holly, Meg escaped to get revenge by casting Holly into Hell... which is were we all know she belongs.

I regret to inform my loyal, lurking readers that Apple has decided they will no longer carry the Marked by the Beast series.  They state the stories contain

Prohibited Explicit or Objectionable Content

by which they might mean overuse of the word "cock" or possibly "cunt" - but more probably they're viewing them as some veiled form of bestiality.  Which they're not.  All characters who engage in sex are human.

However I do put those caution notes on the stories for a reason.  The male characters in the Beast series are, well, beastly.  So while I think it should be the reader's choice... I respect Apple's decision.

However if you would like to read the series, and you use an Apple device, you can:

• Download a free app for Kindle, Nook, or Kobo onto your device and purchase directly through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or the Kobo store.

For whatever reason, Apple has not ticketed the second story in the series, Seducing the Beast.  Perhaps the hero was less beastly?

Because Meg's sister-in-law isn't just cheating.  Holly is a witch who's been calling up demons from Hell in order to exchange power with them.  When she realizes Meg is spying on her, she tries to silence her forever by summoning an ancient, powerful demon and trapping them together.  Luckily for Meg, the demon is more interested in seeking revenge against his captor than in murdering her.

To escape the circle, the demon needs a strong witch.  The Farrows have always had a little witch blood themselves.  An exchange with the demon will boost Meg's powers - but it will also mean surrendering herself entirely to a savage lust she doesn't know if she should trust...

That pesky word of warning:  This story contains erotic content involving a demon.  And while he is in some ways more "human" than the men in my previous stories, he does have features which may not be to some readers' taste.  Think horns, and a wicked tail.  If this is not your cup of tea, please read elsewhere for your own comfort.
